Costa Rica Summer Camp

Costa Rica Summer Camp was organized by Costa Rica Branch Chief Sensei Erik Goldberg from July 3^rd to 5^th in San Jose, Costa Rica. Kancho Shokei Matsui led the camp assisted by Shihan Katsuhito Gorai, Shihan Riyuji Isobe and Sensei Alejandro Navarro. More than 70 IKO Costa Rica members from 5 years old to senior participated. Japanese Ambassador Hironobu Ishibashi (Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary) to Costa Rica officially opened the seminar. Kancho Matsui focused on important principles of karate technique including an official warm up to kumite. Shihan Isobe and Sensei Navarro conducted sessions to cover kumite techniques. All the participants enjoyed Kancho Matsui’s profound insight into Kyokushin Karate.
