Kancho Shokei Matsui led the camp assisted by Shihan Katsuhito Gorai with focus on important principles of Kihon, Ido, and Kumite. 220 IKO members from 4 countries including Australia, New Caledonia, Romania and New Zealand participated. The camp was opened by a Powhiri, traditional Maori welcoming ceremony, and 5 sessions were taught by Kancho. After the last session, all IKO New Zealand members performed Haka to express deep respect, strength and unity of IKO KYOKUSHINKAIKAN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
