The Mayor of the Municipality of Varna officially opened the championships. Approximately 900 competitors from 22 countries took part in the two-day Championships. The first day of the competition started with kata and kumite for 8 to 15 years old juniors and the second day for 16 to 17 years old junior, seniors, men and women.
