This tournament has been held at the beginning of every summer in Osaka. The weight classes include Light weight class (65kg or less), Medium weight class (75 kg or less), Light heavy weight class (85 kg or less) and Heavy weight class (over 85 kg). This is considered as the big step for All Japan Open held in autumn.
