The 50th Poland Summer Camp

The 50th Poland Summer Camp was organized by Poland Branch Chief Shihan Jacek Czerniec from August 10th to 13th in Lublin. Shihan Katushito Gorai and Sensei Kyohei Ajima led the camp. 300 participants from Germany, Netherlands, Ukraine, Hungary, Finland, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Czech, Japan and Poland enjoyed this 4-day camp. To celebrate the camp's 50th anniversary, the camp started with 50 repetitions of all 30 Kihon techniques. This Kihon was completed with 100 Mawashi-geri with reverberating loud Kiai to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Sosai Masutatsu Oyama's birth. All aspects of Kihon, Ido, Kata, Bunkai, and Fighting techniques were well covered, including Judge seminar and Kyu/Dan examination. On the last day, all World Open competitors form Poland gathered to be introduced to all the participants and joined 50 people kumite to complete the camp.
