On June 1^st, 2023, IKO Netherlands Dojo Operator, Shihan Gosse Meerstra passed away. He was 69 years old.

Shihan Meerstra joined the IKO Kyokushinkaikan in 1976. For more than 40 years, Shihan Meerstra devoted his life to lead many camps and seminars in the Netherlands and abroad.

Kancho Shokei Matsui and the entire Kyokushinkaikan, send our sincere condolences to Shihan Meerstra's family, to his many friends, and his dedicated students. Shihan Meerstra's kindness and warmth will be remembered. May he rest in peace.
