Turkish Winter Camp and Turkish Karate Championships were organized by Turkish Branch Chief Sensei Omer Duran from January 26th to 30th in Yıldırım, Bursa. Shihan Katsuhito Gorai led the camp and oversaw the championships. Approximately 80 Turkish members attended the 3-day camp and trained mainly newly required katas, On January 29th and 30th, the championships were held from youth to senior for kata and kumite categories. Mayor of Yildırım Oktay Yilmaz and Turkish Karate Federation President attended the event.
