Canadian Winter Camp 2022 was held from February 18 to 20 in the North Okanagan region of British Columbia, organized by Canada Branch Chief Shihan Stuart Corrigal. The camp was limited to 55 participants this year due to the restrictions caused by the pandemic. Although the numbers were limited, the spirit and enthusiasm at camp was true to Kyokushin.

A team of 5 instructors assisted Shihan Corrigal with the training that featured Kihon, Ido Geiko, fight tech, Goshin Jitsu, Tameshiwari and an emphasis on the new IKO Kata Bunkai. Early morning training was held at 6:00 AM outdoors on a snow-covered field. The beginning of the annual Canada dan grading was held at camp, with 8 candidates involved.
