Baltic Open Cup

Baltic Open Cup was held in Kaliningrad, Russia on December 18th and 19th, organized by Russian Branch Chief Shihan Alexander Ipatov and Sensei Stanislav Romanchev. On the first day, junior category was held, and more than 500 participants aged from 6 to 17 years old enjoyed kumite competitions. On the second day, Men's open kumite division with 32 competitors from Russia, Poland, Belarus, Germany, Spain, France, Mongolia and Lebanon attended. Top 8 raffle system was applied to choose opponents the same way as the 52nd All Japan Open Karate Championship in November 2020 in Tokyo. The event was held without spectators according to the pandemic safety measure. Results are attached.
