Turkey Karate Championships was organized by Turkish Branch Chief Sensei Omer Duran from October 2nd and 3rd in Yıldırım, Bursa. IKO Honbu appointed Bulgaria Branch Chief Shihan Emil Kostov to oversee this championships to implement new kata and kumite rules. Mayor of Yıldırım Oktay Yılmaz and Turkish Karate Federation President attended the event. 264 competitors from youth to senior including 4 Bulgarian members, enjoyed kata and kumite competitions.
