Poland Summer Camp

The IKO Poland Summer Camp was held from August 13 to 16 in Lublin, organized and led by Poland Branch Chief Shihan Jacek Czerniec, assisted by Sensei Piotr Moczydlowski. More than 200 participants including instructors and students from almost all Poland Dojos took pad in the camp. They practiced Kihon, Ido Geiko, Kumite combinations, Kata & Bunkai including new standards of kata as well kata with Bo. Some details of judge's theories and practices regarding rules for kumite competition were covered. The camp concluded with a Dan and Kyu test. Shihan Katsuhito Gorai had an online meeting with all participants, where he explained how IKO Honbu and international affiliates are dealing with the world pandemics. Camp was held with the safety rules. IKO Poland members were very fortunate to get together to practice in person despite the many difficulties posed by the pandemic situation. Osu!
