The 33rd European Weight Category Karate Championships and European Junior & Senior Karate Championships were held in Wroclaw, Poland on May 18th and 19th, organized by IKO Poland Branch Chief Sensei Agnieszka Sypien and presided over by IKO International Department Director, Shihan Katsuhito Gorai. Record-breaking 740 participants from 28 countries took part in the championships. Several finalists were selected from this event to represent the IKO Europe Team at the 12th World Open Karate Championships on November 22~24 this year in Tokyo.
