The 17th All Asia Open Karate Championships

The 17th All Asia Open Karate Championships were held in Dhaka, Bangladesh on November 9th and 10th, organized by IKO Bangladesh Branch Chief Shihan Monir Ahmed Bhuiyan and presided over by IKO International Department Director, Shihan Katsuhito Gorai. Forty-seven male and twelve female competitors from thirteen countries across Asia and Middle East, participated. On the 1st day, the President of Bangladesh, the honorable Md. Abdul Hamid, attended to personally declare the opening of the championships. The Top 8 in the Men's division were selected from this event to represent the IKO Asia Regional Team at the 12th World Open Karate Championships, scheduled for November 22~24, 2019 in Tokyo, Japan. On November 11th, IKO International Training Seminar was conducted by Shihan Katsuhito Gorai for nearly 70 participants. Osu!
