1st Karate Summer Camp in Switzerland

The 1st Karate Kyokushinkaikan Summer Camp was held from June 29 to July 1, 2018 organized by IKO Switzerland Branch Chief Sensei Giuseppe Biancaniello. 27 participants trained outdoors and at the "Lake Geneva" in the Olympic capital of Lausanne. The 3 day camp which included the 15km run focused on specific footwork during the fight and techniques of the new rules such as "ashi-barai" (leg sweep). Fundamentals such as KIhon, idogeiko, kata, kumite and tameshiwari were also included in the camp. The camp ended with participants receiving their Kyu and Dan belts.
