IKO Russia Winter Camp

MainB.jpg Kancho Shokei Matsui headed the Traditional Winter Camp for Instructors of IKO Russian Branch Chief Shihan Alexander Ipatov, from Jan 10 to 16 2017 in Moscow, Russia. Approximately 360 participants worked hard under the leadership of Kancho Matsui, assisted by Shihan Artur Hovhannisyan.
There were 12 training sessions, including competition kumite techniques under the new rules. There was also a big Judges seminar conducted by Shihan Arthur Hovhannisyan assisted by Tariel Nikoleishvili. Sports medicine experts held workshops aimed to preserve and restore the health of athletes. A professor from Russian South State University held a session for those who want to improve their education skills in the field of sports activities. Kancho Matsui held a conference to describe his experiences with Sosai Oyama and he answered the questions of the camp's participants. The culmination of the camp was a Dan examination, where 60 participants tried their best in front of Kancho Matsui.
