The Belgrade Trophy "team-match event" was held at Belgrade, Serbia on October 1, 2016, organized by IKO Serbia Branch Chief Sensei Zarko Petkovic. There were 18 matches altogether, Bulgaria vs. Serbia, with the final result was a tie between the two teams, and a score of 9 to 9. The Main Exhibition Event was between two strong female fighters, Klaudia Gawrys of Poland, and Ivana Manic of Serbia. Serbia's Manic won the match in a hometown victory.
