Marathon in Moscow

Kumite Marathon 'Aspire to be the Best' was held on May 9th in Moscow, organized by IKO Russian Brach Chief Sensei Karen Gyadukyan. This event was for participants to experience a simulated mass sparring event in honor of Kyokushin's toughest challenge, "The 100 Man Kumite". 195 participants tried this challenge ranging in age from 4yr old youths to senior adult members and championships winners. Tariel Nikoleishvili, the 10th World Open Karate Champion and actual 100 Man Kumite challenger, encouraged and inspired all the participants.
