Russian Winter Camp was held from January 14 to 17, 2016 in Moscow, Russia, organized by Shihan Alexander Ipatov. The camp was led by guest instructor, Shihan Seiji Isobe, assisted by Shihan Artur Hovhannisyan. Approximately 360 participants enjoyed Shihan Isobe's iconic teaching method, and several members fine-tuned their skills for the IKO Kyu & Dan test, which was held on the final day of the camp. Outdoor training in the deep snow was conducted, finishing with seiza and meditation. Following the camp on January 18 & 19, Shihan Isobe visited other local IKO dojos in Moscow, including Sensei Karen Gyadukyan's brand-new dojo and Sensei Maxim Dedik's dojo for extra training sessions.
