IKO Poland Summer Camp

Main.JPG IKO Poland Summer Camp was held from August 20 to 23 in Lublin, Poland, organized by IKO Poland Branch Chief Shihan Jacek Cerniec. Shihan Katsuhito Gorai and Shihan Francisco Filho led the camp and over 250 IKO members participated in this annual event from all over Poland, as well as Belarus, Belgium, Ukraine, Austria, Great Britain, Hungary, Latvia, Romania, Germany, Holland, Turkey, Tunisia, Algeria, Brazil and the United States. On the first day, IKO Judging Seminar was conducted in the mooring and afternoon session covered kihon and kata. On the second day the morning session was dedicated to Ido geiko and kumite combinations and in the afternoon stamina training and advanced kata were covered. The third day started with half-hour meditation in seiza position and conditioning training outdoors. Dan & Kyu examination was conducted in the afternoon. On the last day of the camp, all participants enjoyed two-hour kumite session to conclude the camp. Osu
