Canadian Winter Camp 2015

MainB.JPG The annual Canadian Winter Training Camp was held March 20, 21, 22, in Peachland, BC, with 67 members from western Canada in attendance.
Camp conditions were ideal as the mild winter in western Canada kept the wintery snow and cold temperatures to a minimum.
Branch Chief, Stuart Corrigal, led classes throughout the camp with the support of many senior Canadian members.
Classes covered a wide variety of Kyokushin Karate technical aspects, including "Kyokushin Kihon Kumites" and the new Goshin Jitsu Syllabus, both of which date back to Sosai Mas Oyama's early years formulating the foundations of Kyokushin Karate.
Canadian IKO Dan candidates for 2015, must attend this event as part of their grading. In addition to the training, the candidates must complete a board-breaking requirement at this camp to move forward with grading.
Overall, it was a very successful camp.
