The 2015 Kagami-Biraki (Official Dojo Opening of the Year) was held at the Metropolitan Hotel in Ikebukuro, Tokyo on January 11th.
120 members including, Kancho Shokei Matsui, Shihan Yuzo Goda, Shihan Masatoshi Yamada, Shihan Haruki Ikeda, Branch chief's, instructors, fighters and students participated this traditional event. The event started at 6:30am with a training session followed by Kancho Matsui's New Year speech. Special Advisor Kyosuke Machida led the toast to start the banquet. 5 fighters participating in this year's world tournament for the Japanese team gave a speech and there was also the Genkotsu Tournament (iKyokushin Game).
The event was official closed with Shihan Goda's final toast.
