IKO Los Angeles Seminar was held at Manhattan Beach, California from September 6th to 7th, organized by IKO USA Branch Chief Shihan Patrick Fard. The seminar was led by Shihan Katsuhito Gorai and former World Open Karate Champion, Sensei Ewerton Teixeira, Brazil.
Approximately 60 participants from Southern California Kyokushin Branches enjoyed 4 indoor sessions and 1 morning beach training. Sensei Teixeira has resumed in teaching and coaching the next generation of Kyokushin fighters in his native Brazil, and introduced some innovative footwork and fight combinations, stressing the importance of putting the mind and body together for Karate practice.
