The IKO Iran International Black Belt Seminar was held at Yazd, Iran, from August 26 to 29, 2014 and organized by IKO Iranian Branch Chief, Shihan Seyed Mohammadi with IKO USA Branch Chief Shihan Patrick Fard, at this 3000-year-old desert town. Shihan Katsuhito Gorai, IKO Bulgarian Branch Chief Shihan Emil Kostov, and Sensei Gergana Kostova led the camp.
220 men and 80 women trained separately based on Iranian cultural tradition; though everyone gathered together on the last day for a magnificent desert training session in the early morning under the rising sun.
In attending to lead Kyokushin training sessions for Iranian female members, Sensei Kostova became the first IKO Kyokushinkaikan international female instructor to visit Iran.
