Canadian Summer Training Camp

MainA.JPG The annual Canadian Kyokushin Karate Summer Training Camp was held from August 1 to 4, in Ashton Creek, British Columbia.
This year 160 participants enjoyed great training in the hot conditions, with temperature reaching in the high 30 C's. The camp started and ended with classes that featured traditional Kyokushin style training, of 1000 punches and 1000 kicks!
Fighting for the 2014 Dan testing candidates was held and 5 new black belts were awarded. A Kyu test was also held under the auspices of Branch Chief Shihan Stuart Corrigal.
The camp featured Kyokushin Kihon, Ido Geiko, Kata, as well as water training and Bo/Tonfa training.
The Sayonara Party featured the "Kyokushin's Got Talent" show which was enjoyed by all.
