The traditional West-Russian Winter Camp was held form February 13th to 16th, 2014 in Chekhov under the leadership of Shihan Victor Belov and Sensei Alexey Bashlykov. The guest instructors were Shihan Katsuhito Gorai and Japanese Branch Chief Sensei Kentaro Tanaka who will challenge the 100-men kumite in April.
More than 220 members from over 25 regional dojos of west-russia participate in the Winter Camp.
All participants enjoyed Kihon, Ido, Kata and Kumite trainings with Sensei Tanaka leading the way while Shihan Gorai held a Judge seminar and Test with 21people successfully passing.
There also was the traditional 30Km run "Challenge the Limits" with participants finishing the full distance being awarded special badges.
In the last day there was a Dan and Kyu test and 80 members participated.
