Events in Ukraine

Main.jpg Two events were held in Ukraine under the direction of Branch Chief Sensei Oleg Ovechkin.
The first event was the winter camp that was held on January 24th in Kharkov in which 103 members participated. There were 3 trainings a day with the main focus on basic technics in Kumite and Kata. Amongst the techniques a lot of focus went into fighting tactics and physical activities on endurance. On the last day there was a Kyu Test.
The second event was the championship of the city of Kiev. The championship was in kumite and was devoted to the 50th anniversary of Kyokushin Karate.
112 competitors participated from 12 dojos of Kiev. Competitors were aged from 6 to adults, men and women and seniors from 35 and up.
