Italian Summer Camp 2013

Main.JPG The Italian Summer Camp was held from August 2nd to 5th, 2013 at the Calanovella - Piraino resort in Messina Italy organized by Branch Chief Shihan Tsutomu Wakiuchi. 100 members participated from dojo's accross Italy. There were two training sessions per day with green, brown and black belts dedicating one extra hour learning the implementation of kata.
Training started with jogging then to strengthening exercises, techniques sparring and kata from morning to noon. Evening training was idogeiko, kata and kumite. With Shihan Wakiuchi leading the way assisted by Sensei's and Senpai's, participants trained hard trough fatigue and high temperature in the hot sun of Sicily.
Participants also had the opportunity to go to the beach next to the camp area to enjoy other activities. Over the course of the three days Shihan, Sensei and Senpai have collaborated in order to create a great atmosphere to facilitate the basic principles of Kyokushinkaikan between all the participants.
