The 30th Canadian Kyokushin Karate Championships was recently held on May 4th, in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
In attendance was Kancho Shokei Matsui, as the tournament special guest. Almost 300 competitors competed in the various divisions throughout the day. The format of this event is much like the International Friendship Tournaments and has divisions for all our membership.
The day following the tournament, an IKO Technical Seminar was conducted by Kancho for the nearly 200 students in attendance.
