The 7th Winter School was held from January 11-13, 2013 in Kherson City Ukraine at the sports hall of the Kherson State University organized by Branch Chief Shihan Sergei Vsevolodov. Originally starting as a 4 day gathering of small groups for best fighters in the branch preparing for the Ukrainian Championships the event has grown bigger every year with 230 members participating from 10 regions despite the strong frost and ice closing the roads.
Participants were separated into 2 groups. The children and one's who were preparing for the Kyu Test trained in the gymnasium with Sensei Volodymyr Sotsenko and others with Shihan Sergei Vsevolodov and Sensei Dmitry Prasolov. This first event for the year 2013 is a start for Ukrainian team fighters and will prepare them for the forthcoming competitions national and internationally.
