The 13th Vancouver Cup Karate Championships was successfully held on December 2nd in Vancouver, Canada. The event saw IKO Branch Chiefs, Shihan Stuart Corrigal and Shihan Andre Gilbert in attendance. The caliber of the fighters was quite high as many of the World Tournament contenders fought one another in final matches. The sold-out crowd was amazed by the authentic Kyokushin fighting and Japanese Drum performed by a local Taiko group. An ice breaking demonstration was also introduced by the event organizer, Tats Nakamura.
