The traditional Russian Junior Winter Camp was held from November 22nd thru 25th, 2012 in Moscow, organized by Branch Chief Sensei Karen Gyadukyan. Sensei Shin ito and Sensei Artur Hovhannisyan from Japan was invited as the guest instructors. 190 participants from all over Russia participated in this annual camp to train with six-time World Champion Anastasia Khripunova, three-time World Champion Elena Vorobyeva and World Champion Tariel Nikoleishvili.
The camp had 2 full days of training and a day for Kyu test. Sensei Shin ito and Sensei Artur Hovhannisyan instructed 4 training sessions which focused on Kihon, Ido-Geiko, Kata and Kumite. Sensei Ito voiced his impression: "With such a high level of motivation, the Russian children have every chance to take the lead in international tournaments and championships in the future". Also Sensei Artur Hovhannisyan mentioned the big step forward, compared to the year before last, which indicates the correct direction of teaching of Russian instructors.
