Kyokushin Cup of Russia was held in Moscow on October 20th and 21st, organized by IKO Russian Branch Chief Shihan Alexander Ipatov. Approximately 100 competitors from all over Russia competed in these national championships for Men and Women in Kumite and Kata divisions. Well-seasoned, experienced competitors took to the stage as well newcomers who competed for the first time. Many young fighters with great potential came to light. IKO International Department Director, Shihan Katsuhito Gorai oversaw the event and conducted a 2-hour-technical seminar on October 22nd. Many competitors from the day before as well as Branch Chiefs and Instructors participated. Russian members train hard with a great enthusiasm and dedication.
