The IKO Austria Training Camp was held in Goestling from November 14th to 18th, organized by Austrian Branch Chief Sensei Bekim Neziri. Goestling is approximately 200 km south of Vienna, and is a charming mountain village in the middle of the Austrian mountains. Shihan Katsuhito Gorai was the guest instructor and led the camp from the second day. Kihon, Ido, Kata & Kumite techniques were covered for the children and adult students. One of the training sessions was held on the top of the mountain and stamina & conditioning in the cool mountain air was refreshing. Austria has many international immigrants and Sensei Neziri has many nationalities represented in his school, such as Albania, Serbia, Nepal, Macedonia and Turkey. This eclectic group exemplifies the diversity and mutual understanding of Kyokushin practitioners and our goal of World Peace, Osu!
