The One year Memorial Service to celebrate the life and memory of Shihan Bobby Lowe, was held September 14, 2012, in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The memorial service was hosted by the family of Shihan Lowe and members of the Hawaii dojo. A luncheon for 120 people was held, followed by pictures with the family and Hawaii Dojo members at the grave site of Shihan.
Newly appointed Hawaii Branch Chief, Shihan Herb Ishida, and long time dojo members, Shihan Toshi Ikehara, and Sensei Glenn Oyama attended with other senior members of the Hawaii Dojo. Family members included Shihan Lowe's wife, Betty, along with daughter, Barbara, and son, Michael. Out of town visitors included Shihan Stuart Corrigal from Canada.
