The IKO Poland Summer Camp was held in Lublin, Poland from August 16th to 19th, 2012 by local host, Shihan Jacek Czerniec. Shihan Seiji Isobe was the special guest instructor for the second year in a row, assisted by Shihan Katsuhito Gorai. 198 students from 15 countries made the most of this rare opportunity to train with legendary master, Shihan Isobe over the four days. 
On Aug 18th, Lublin City hosted an exhibition of photos from the Northeast of Japan damaged by the earthquake and tsunami in March last year, in order to raise the recovery fund and awareness. All the camp participants attended the opening ceremony at the City Hall with the Mayor of Lublin, Shihan Isobe and Shihan Gorai cut the tape to celebrate the opening of the exhibit. 
During rigorous training sessions, Shihan Isobe focused on Uke-Kaeshi (Block - Retaliation) techniques as well as basics, ido geiko, kumite combinations and kata details. A Kyu and Dan test was also held for camp participants. After completion of the camp, and after most students returned to their hometowns, one extra session was held at Shihan Jacek's Lublin Dojo and allowed his local members to enjoy Shihan Isobe's original combinations and Shihan Gorai's weapon training with loud kiai together.
