2012 Chinese Summer Camp

The Shanghai Branch of China held a summer camp with a Kyu examination from August 1st to August 7th. Sensei Makoto Akaishi from Honbu was the guest instructor. This was the first time they invited an instructor from Honbu and many members from Shanghai and nearby regions participated. The camp included Kihon, KATA, Kumite and a morning training from 6:00am. In the last day of the camp 24 members took part in the Kyu examination and showed their competence with great spirit. At the end there was a sayonara party and the organizers appreciated Sensei Akaishi's visit and gave words that they would carry his instructions into effect in their own dojos.
