< The 10th World Tournament, Nov. 4, 5, 6 > 

1)   June15 ~July 10: Registration for pre-selected competitors and seconds.

2)    Participation Fee: $200-USD including a special souvenirs; Ichigeki Do-gi with 10th WT emblem and Official tournament pamphlet etc,

3)   November 3: Competitors/Seconds check-in, Weigh-in, Rules explanation, Do-gi & Obi check, Zekken sewing on Do-gi top, Waiver/Agreement form must be signed.

4)   Registered seconds/competitors must bring a valid IKO ID to get an official tournament pass.

5)    Accommodations provided for 192 Men's competitors at Olympic Center for up to 5 nights. (Check-in: Nov 2 or 3, Check-out: Nov 7)

6)    Medical O.K. is required. HIV is NOT required.

7)   Waiver form confirming personal liability must be signed in order to participate in this event. Participants are personally responsible for any injuries sustained during this event as well as for any medical treatment incurred as a result of participation in this event. Proof of Medical Insurance must be provided.

8)    Men's open competitors shall not participate in any martial events for the period between October 4th and November 2nd to prevent injuries. Violator and unofficial withdrawal is subject to penalty.

< 2011 Women's World Open Karate Tournament, Nov. 4 > 

1)    June 15~July 10: Registration for pre-selected competitors and seconds.

3)    Participation Fee: $120-USD included official Tournament pamphlet, complimentary Tickets for Nov 4

4)    November 2: Competitors/Seconds check-in, Weigh-in, Do-gi, and Protective gears check, Zekken, Waiver/Agreement form must be signed.

5)    1 coach/ per competitor or maximum of 8 passes per team can be issued. IKO current member only w/valid IKO ID card.

6)    Medical OK is required. HIV is NOT required.

7)    Proof of Medical Insurance must be provided, and Waiver confirming personal liability must be signed in order to participate in this event. Participants are personally responsible for any injuries sustained during this event as well as for any medical treatment incurred as a result of participation in this event. Unofficial withdrawal will be subjected to penalty.

 

< Accommodation > 

1)   Olympic Center -- dormitory style accommodation with shared bath & toilet for all competitors, BC/DOP and IKO supporters. Space limited.

2)   $35-USD set price/person/night. Reservations must be made in groups and payments must be made in advance by BC/DOP via bank transfer or credit card (first come first serve).

 please ask your BD/DOP. The deadline for hotel reservation to Honbu is July 31st.

3)   192 World Men's Open & 16 Women's World competitors must stay in Olympic Center.

4)    Must Check-out of Olympic Center on Monday, Nov 7.

5)    Cafeterias and convenience stores are inside the Olympic Center. *limited hours

6)    Alcoholic beverages and Smoking are prohibited in Olympic Center.

7)   Hotels -- Metropolitan Hotel in Ikebukuro and Yoyogi/ Shinjyu-ku area Hotels may be reserved on request. 

8)   Honbu recommends all IKO members to stay in Olympics center.  


< VISA  Assistance > 

1)    VISA application Period: June 15 ~ July 10.  IKO members and their family/ friends only. BC pass required.) http://www.kyokushinkaikan.org/bc-login/

2)    VISA Fee $50-USD / person + Shipping Fee (non-refundable)

3)    VISA fraud will be reported to the police.

4)    VISA assistance is an administrative service provided by IKO Honbu to facilitate entry to Japan solely to participate in this event.  *VISA issuance is not guaranteed.

 

< Discount Tickets >

1)   BC/DOP discounted tickets for the 10WT and Women's World are now available for IKO members and their family and friends. To order IKO member discount tickets, ask BC/DOP.

2)   International Karate Friendship on Nov 3 is Admission-FREE for IKO members w/ valid IKO ID card.

                                              < Complimentary Tickets > 

1)    Men's Open World competitors will receive a complimentary ticket if they do not advance to the next day.

2)    Women's World competitors will receive a complimentary ticket for Nov. 5 & 6.

3)    International Karate Friendship competitor will receive a complimentary ticket for Nov.4.

4)    Complimentary tickets will be given in exchange for a competitor's pass and are non-transferable.



< Officiating (Judge/Referee) Seminar/Examination, Nov.2 >

1)     To apply for the Tournament Judging team for the 10th WT and IKO Officiating seminar, please ask your BC/DOP. Must be +18yr. black belt card holders only.

2)    All prospect Judges and Referees must participate in the seminar on November 2 at Oympics center and wear official judge shirts + tie. 

3)   Application dead line: July 31. Application is available through your BC/DOP.


< Technical Seminar, Nov. 5 >
 

1)   A special technical seminars by renowned Shihan including World Champions,
Shihan Francisco Filho and Shihan Hitoshi Kiyama etc, will be offered in Olympic Center. on Nov 5.   *
No videos and photographs.  Honbu will provide photos on Honbu website.

2)    Seminar fee: $100-USD. Open for all current IKO members.

3)    Certificate of attendance with Names & attended dates printed will be issued if payment is completed in advance as specified. Application form is available thru BC/DOP.

4)   Application dead line: July 31. Application is available through your BC/DOP.



< Sayonara Party, Nov. 6 >

Sayonara Party will be held at Olympic center on Nov 6. Ticket $20-USD/person. All competitors will receive a complimentary Sayonara ticket. Junior members are welcome if accompanied by parent or guardian.  


< Mt. Mitsumine Camp & Dan Examination, Nov 7 & 8 >  

Experience the traditional Kyokushin water fall and special training sessions
lead by Kancho Matsui in a sacred Mt. Mitsumine Shrine.

Camp Fee covers two days-one night accommodation with three meals, two training sessions and the water fall training with full transportation. (open to all ranks but no child under 12 is permitted.)

The bus will depart Olympic Center at 8:00am on Monday, Nov 7 and return to Tokyo at 7:00pm next day. - Time subject for change.

Camp Fee: $250-USD, Limit 250 person

Dan test Fee for 3~6 Dan:$200USD
Dan test Fee for 1~2 Dan:$100USD (+18yr only)
